Effective August 15, 2026.
Privacy Policy
Reverb is designed to keep your notes in your hands. Your library is made of ordinary Markdown files stored on your device or in a location you choose.
Information Reverb handles
Reverb reads and writes the notes, folders, and app preferences needed to provide the features you use. This information stays on your device unless you choose to store, move, or share it somewhere else.
Balanced Concepts does not receive the contents of your notes. Reverb does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, cross-app tracking, or AI chat.
Updates and app distribution
Reverb may contact Expo to check for and download app updates. Apple also processes information when it distributes Reverb through the App Store or TestFlight. These providers may receive ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address, device type, and app version, under their own privacy policies.
Sharing and imported files
Reverb only sends a note to another app or service when you choose a sharing or export action. Information you share is then handled by the destination you select. Files you import remain under your control through Reverb and your device’s file tools.
Retention and deletion
You control your Markdown files. Deleted notes move to Reverb’s local trash and are removed automatically after 30 days. You can also manage app files through the device’s file tools. Removing the app may remove data kept only inside its app container; copies stored elsewhere remain where you placed them.
Children’s privacy
Reverb is not directed to children under 13, and Balanced Concepts does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will appear on this page. Questions can be sent to pd@balancedconcepts.co.
